Becoming The Self is the most personal project I’ve ever shared.
This space was born from years of searching, healing, breaking, and rebuilding. It came from learning, slowly and imperfectly, to come home to my true self.
For most of my adult life, I felt stuck in painful relationship patterns, caught in cycles of people-pleasing, codependency, and confusion.
Therapy helped me name what was happening. Spirituality helped me hold it. And little by little, I began to meet the parts of me that had been carrying it all.
My healing began in 2017, when I reached a point I couldn’t push through alone anymore. Since then, I’ve explored everything from attachment theory to EMDR, inner child work, neurofeedback, holistic psychiatry, and various spiritual practices.
Some things helped. Others didn’t. None of it has been linear, but all of it has taught me something.
